House Democrat holdouts agree to move forward on health care
Politics is the art of compromise. I looks like the hwalth care reform bill has cleared significant hurdles.

An agreement announced Wednesday between four fiscally conservative House Democrats and the chamber's Democratic leadership allowed committee debate to resume on a bill to overhaul the nation's health care system.

The House deal with four of the so-called Blue Dog Democrats was announced as Obama hit the road to build more public support for his health plan.
The Blue Dogs had presented committee Chairman Henry Waxman with a list of 10 items that they wanted changed in health care reform proposals. Neither side revealed what the 10 items were.

Ross said the deal between four Blue Dogs on the House committee, the House Democratic leadership and the White House lowers the cost of the House health care reform plan by $100 billion and also exempts businesses with payrolls below $500,000 from having to provide health coverage for workers.

1. There were Blue Dogs on Lou Dobbs who stated there were only
4 Blue Dogs who joined the Leaders. They certainly sounded
very negative.

A strong public option is the compermise from single payer,

I do not call this a compermise, although they are still working on bill, and final bill is not finished yet.

....Public Option........................Insurance companies.......

.......................................................PO for insurance companies...
