Sneak in more Omega 3 & 6 with Hemp Milk
The research is really amazing what Omega 3 & 6 is doing for brain development.

My kid has Apraxia and his language processing has really improved.

1. Hemp is an excellent source of nutrients
Omega 3's AND 6's - EFAA's

Any Vegans should be eating hemp daily - it will replace a lot of the EFAAs you aren't getting from not eating milk and eggs

2. Impossible, the Federal drug scheduling still says Cannabis has no medical value
:eyes:

The fact that hemp is still outlawed isn't just wrong, it's cruel. It's like outlawing vegetable farming.

3. Hemp juice
not milk.

No mammary glands, no milk.

4. Misnamed just like that nasty "soy milk"
Soy milk is one of the most vile concoctions ever thunk up by our mass food producers. I expect that hemp "milk" is equally or more nasty than the soy.

6. That would be a challenge
My girlfriend swears that it tastes the same as real milk.

Hell no.

7. How many brands did you try?
I love when people try one thing and think it represents ALL things. It even makes me think that they were looking to hate it.

I have to admit, though, that I tried a hemp milk in one of those aseptic packages and it was nasty! It was very bitter, which I attribute to the fragile state of hemp seeds. It is like sesame seeds. They go bitter very quickly. I would rather use hemp seed powder and make smoothies!

8. Good point!
I have tried and really like Living Harvest Hemp Milk. Comes in Vanilla, Chocolate and original; sweetened and unsweetened.

My kid likes it too.

9. No, the thing with soy milk is it has to be heavily
processed in order to become even ingestible. The only healthy soy is a fermented soy, but then you have to get non-genetically-modified soy, since alot of soy is genetically-modified.

5. Does Hemp contain DHA and EFAs? Because Flaxseed does not.
And so far I've only heard of fish oil being the complete Omega 3 and 6 supplement. I even went to the natural food store and I found that Flaxseed only contained ALA.
