A friend of mine is pregnant with her first child. The baby showed some abnormalities during routine testing and upon further testing the doctors found that one of the baby's X chromosomes is missing its top half and in its place is extra chromosome 14 material. They are scrambling to find more concrete info on this condition as it is very rare. She is in her 21st week and if they have to terminate the pregnancy they want to make sure they have all the information before they have to decide.
Has anyone had any experience with this condition?
Thank you in advance, JB
