Dr. Bernard Rimland, Autism Research Institute
Autism to a very large degree is treatable. You can learn most of what you need to know here: www.autism.com

The Autism Research Institute (ARI), a non-profit organization, was established in 1967. For more than 40 years, ARI has devoted its work to conducting research, and to disseminating the results of research, on the triggers of autism and on methods of diagnosing and treating autism. We provide research-based information to parents and professionals around the world.

1. Autism to a very large degree is treatable?
Sure it's treatable. I'm treatable too. I'll have some ice cream.

What the hell does that mean? Sorry if I seem angry but I've been "treating" my autistic son for years now and yes he is "treatable" but I doubt if he's ever going to be any where near any kind of normal.

Treatable, bah.

2. Meaning that in ain't all in the brain. There are digestive issues,
dietary issues, immunological issues as well as nutritional deficits to consider. Perhaps I should have used a word that didn't offend. Treatable was a poor choice... minimized or mitigated perhaps.

4. According to some it is curable....
and caused by vaccines. And if the rest of us were smarter we would all see that.
