Vitamin D the Miracle Vitamin! (Please Watch & Tell Family & Friends)
After watching several lectures on Vitamin D I had to try and share this with as many people as possible!

Studies are showing Vitamin D might just be a Miracle Vitamin when it comes to preventing many of the common types of cancer, chronic diseases & diabetes.

Please take the time and watch this short video on Vitamin D:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FMlQeH8RFA

However, if you have the time and want to see and hear more in depth info on Vitamin D and what the scientist are saying then follow this link:
http://www.youtube.com/edu?edu_search_query=Vitamin+D&action_search=1

After watching the video "Scientist Call to D-action" Click here to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ-qekFoi-o

I went and signed up at http://www.grassrootshealth.net/ and filled the health questionnaire paid $40 and they sent me a Vitamin D home blood test. I completed the test and mailed it back and they posted my Vitamin D blood level results online.

I had been taking 5000I/U a day of Vitamin D for a little over a month when I had my Vitamin D blood levels tested and my results were 45ng/ml...The suggested Vitamin D blood level is between 40ng/ml to 60ng/ml. The lady I talked to at http://www.grassrootshealth.net/ told me I was in good shape and that my Vitamin D levels would probably go up even further as it usually takes 3 months for your body to absorb the Vitamin D.

However, you really need to watch the videos I have posted and speak with your doctor about getting your Vitamin D levels tested...You can take too much Vitamin D to where it becomes toxic. However, for most people you would have to take an insane amount...But some people are have issues and could have a toxic reaction.

From what I have read & been told 2000 I/U to 5000 I/U a day is OK...I am taking 5000 I/U because I can't get in the sun due to health reasons. The sun is the natural way for your body to generate Vitamin D but most people can't be in the sun with at least 40% of there body exposed between 11am-1pm a few times a week. There is Vitamin D in some foods but not enough to maintain recommended levels.

I hope at least one person watches and possibly benefits from this post!

3. There are so many claims out there about Vitamin D it sounds like
quack medicine, but when you realize that vitamin D is a hormone, it all makes sense. How about this: black Americans all tend to have higher rates of hypertension, prostate cancer and diabetes than white Americans. Researchers have found links to vitamin D for all these conditions. MS rates rise the farther North you go. Guess what, there's a link to vitamin D. Vitamin D helps prevent autoimmune diseases. Guess what , the Great Lakes areas, also notorious for cloudy days, also have higher rates of autoimmune diseases.

4. Plus, darker skin people don't make as much vitamin D as lighter skin folk
all the more reason to avoid health insurance if you can and take vitamin D and other health PREVENTATIVE measures.
