1. Annoying.

So, when are they going to regulate Luden's cough drops?

2. There can be some severe risks associated

with this stuff, particularly for kids who don't read labels. Lots of the meds containing dextromethorphan also have a full dose of paracetimol (tylenol) in it. The dextro may be a largely harmless high in the right dosage, but the tylenol will kill you or at least damage your liver if you take too much of it.

I don't think it's unreasonable to move this behind the counter and have to be 18 to buy it.

Unfortunately, I have patients who do go to it, apparently in desperation.
