Poll question: Water or Dust in Mars Photo?
Check out the lower right of the image. Is that liquid (frozen) water or fine dust?

1. Well, we already know there is frozen water on mars
in the ice caps, which are clearly visable.

as far as that bieng LIQUID water, no, I do not believe it is. I also can't tell is this is a closeup picture or a picture of a huge rock formation from the sky... any info? Either way, that blurry area of dust appears to surround the whole rock...

4. Its from the rover, Opportunity ...
... so its a fairly close-up photo of a layered rock formation. Its a strange one since some of the 'blueberries' appear to be half-submerged.

6. follow the intersection of the dust pile and the bottom edge of the slab

It's clearly mounded up about 3/4 of the way over (looking from left to right). No question about it, it's dust.
