The only method I can recommend is picking up a good book. Mine, for example, deals with parallel universes.

touching so they wouldn't be parallel anymore. Sounds like a Catch-22 situation to me. Or at least something to avoid...it could be a rather big "opps" if you somehow forced it to happen. ;)
