Why do big, heavy vehicles such as trucks kick up more pebbles
on the interstate than regular cars do?

4. And they go further because of more pressure exerted by the tyres
is my guess - they're playing tiddlywinks with the pebbles.

7. Scale/Size
To see what I mean, imagine a remote controlled model car on the the interstate. See, it hardly kicks up anything.

8. my car has a GIANT FREAKING PEBBLE MAGNET
I'll be driving down the road minding my own business and all of a sudden, bricks, cinder blocks, TRS-80's, rebar, immigrant crossing signs, nuns with strollers, all KINDS of weird shit comes hurtling through the air, crossing lanes, doing figure eights in the form of two figure fours to head straight towards my windshield at well over escape velocity. In fact if just one of those damn lawn mowers or dresser drawers or whatever the hell comes flying at me next actually MISSED my car and was able to stay level to the horizon that fucker would be in orbit and those little bitty ISS astronauts up there would be like, what the hell is a high top tennis shoe doing flying around out there oh shit it's heading straight for us, sha mack.

It's fucking supernatural. There is no law of nature that can explain it. Ah sware.
