instead of putting out a deer feeder with corn this year, we're putting out a freeper feeder. it's easy...just set up a porta-potty with a few packs of winston's and a few half full cans of coor's lite on the ground in front of it. stick an autographed portrait of karl rove on the door to get their attention and sit back in your blind and wait.

It amused me to see that take on it.

To answer the question, I do sometimes think that our ability to have sex and reproduce throughout the year gives us a certain edge and flexibility which may have lead to our development. Although I thought this was true also of some other primates, so... hard to say.

On the other hand, if I only got horny a couple of times a year, I'd probably get a lot more done.
