Don't mess with wild animals. I can only guess he reared them as there is no fear or apprehension from either side.

Esp. after what happened to Siegfried & Roy, I am convinced that no way, no how, never can a human being ever consider these wild animals "friends." They have mega-powerful instincts that even in play can cause lethal harm in humans. These pictures are cute but dangerous in the long run.

When I enlarge a picture embedded at that link and then go back to the page that shows them all, i get a popup from one of my virus scanning apps saying that a threat was detected.
