Un-Contacted Amazonian Tribe Cooks with Fire
and the really like turtle eggs. The Yine tribe has about 150 members.
One of their camps was found. They live on the Las Piedras river
in the Madre de Dios department of Peru. When I lived there (60's-70's)
several anthropologist had gone into this area to make contact,
never to return per what I last heard before returning to the USA.

2. But how do you start your fire?
I'm betting these people work a little harder to start a fire.

5. Waste of a perfectly good virgin. Should invest in a lighter.

4. Why wouldn't they?
There's evidence that Homo erectus mastered the use of fire as early as 1.5 million years ago. It stands to reason that the sub-population of erectus that gave rise to H. sapiens would have possessed this skill, meaning that populations of H. sapiens would have always known how to use fire.
