I should have included this in my other comment, but if you get enough smaller mirrors, you could arrange them parabolically and make an astronomical inferometer way more powerful than that 50" monster.

You would need a cherry-picker capable of circling the scope. Just a ladder would get you high enough, but you would also need to keep up with the eye piece, as the scope tracks the object.

I get the impression that Orion is selling this as a "portable" scope. :shrug:
