Rat Islands (Alaska) earthquakes: is this normal activity?
I realize that the Rat Islands of Alaska have been the site of some historically powerful earthquakes, but there seems to be a rash of moderately strong earthquakes there lately. Is this normal?

I have this site bookmarked http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

As you can see from the maps, the earthquake activity of the islands is quite high and has been for weeks.

the shock wave or shift still spreading from the Tsunami area, you'll see why it's occurring in Alaska.

Major one in Chile the other day. It's the entire west coast of NA.

I should have said, it's very visible on your site.
