1. I am still struggling to find veg backpacking boots |
|
I want something that can be absolutely waterproofed, so the cordura-nylon-upper boots will not fill the bill for me. It also has to have a steel or nylon shank, heel and toe counters for rocky terrain, and significant lugs.

5. I expect that I would wear waterproof gaiters over them |
|
It rains a lot where I go hiking. My experience with nylon-upper boots is that the rain and the water on the wet brush get right into them and the boots don't dry out. I expect wading through a shallow stream would give me wet boots, too. That does not happen with one-piece leather boots.

8. I would assume that it's the dark chocolate |
|
may not have milk in it. Their website is no help at all. I've had their chocolate chips. I remember reading the bag...no milk.

10. At this point, I don't care what they do! I want chocolate! ;) |
|
Actually, generic Kroger brand Oreo cookies are vegan. My husband has a bag sitting on the microwave, but I haven't touched them. If I eat one it will be 2 then 3 and well, you know. :)

6. A Moe's Southwestern Grill just opened |
|
almost around the corner from my house. I had seen the sign and didn't know there were vegetarian items on the menu. I'll be visiting them real soon.

9. Just went there the other day. |

They are awesome. You have the option with everything on the menu to substitute meat for tofu. They don't use animal fats for cooking either, so if you ask for it, it'll be a totally vegan meal.

And they smell good :-) I love the grapefruit kitchen cleaner, the wood polish, and the mint glass cleaner!
