Ok - time to join in - I ordered a KitchenAid mixer today -
Amazon had a 4.5 quart "Classic" for $99...I couldn't resist any longer. After reading all the posts about these wonderful "beasts" I finally gave in to my yearning for one.

I've been lurking since the beginning - enjoy all the pictorial, how-to threads, the before and after renovation threads, ya'll are amazing!!!

Thanks to all of the regulars here who've made this such a great group!

:donut: cheers!

6. Ice cream maker? Uh oh...
I've got my eye on the meat grinder - but homemade ice cream?? Could get real dangerous! LOL (maybe I could get it for when the nieces/nephew come )

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

8. Price is back up to $129 today -
I think they had a one day sale that I lucked into. When I saw your post a couple weeks ago I almost bought one since that's the cheapest I'd ever seen for a new mixer.

 I got lucky I guess

11. tip: get a second bowl
I finally got a second bowl for my mixer and I don't regret it. Now I can whip egg whites or cream without cleaning out the bowl or having to get out the hand mixer. They sell a smaller bowl which is a bit less expensive than the full size one.
