I tried a new sauce to marinade my steaks recently, and I LOOOOOVED it. It was A1 Steakhouse Marinade with cracked pepper and onion. Ask WestHoustonDem if youdon't take my word for it! I had a family pack of T-bones that was about to expire when Rita hit town, so we grilled 'em all up and ate well all weekend! LOL

3. or rub with a paste made of garlic, cilantro, and a just touch... |

...of oil-- I just throw a bunch of garlic cloves, half a bunch of cilantro, chopped, a bit of salt, and a tiny bit of oil into a mini-processor and make a paste. Rub the steaks generously. Let them sit for 30 minutes, then grill.
This is actually a thai grilled chicken recipe, but it works very well with steaks, too. Slice thin, serve with a vinegar/nuoc mam/chili dipping sauce.
