2. $1.19/lb
For a fresh turkey, which isn't too bad. It's a fierce-lookin' 25 pounder, which I'm sure is going to fight me all the way to the oven tomorrow.

3. Albertson's had them $4 for up to 16 pounds, and $5 for over 16.
So a 16 pound turkey cost $0.25 cents a pound.

Of course, you gotta like turkey for it to be a bargain.

I got a $10 off coupon from Jewel in the mail. Headed over there and got a 15 pound turkey for about $4.30!

5. You guys scored
I bought a 19# Butterball for $10.00. I wanted to get a larger one
but there weren't any, so I bought two.

6. Free!
Spend $75 on groceries, get the turkey for free. I got a 24 pound bird. Coolness, lots of turkey sammiches this weekend. We put up our Christmas decorations Thanksgiving weekend so no cooking for me!

7. Not me - I bought a Murray's all natural free-range turkey
$21 for an 8 pound bird, but Murray's turkeys are wonderful, so it will be worth it - plus I won't have days of leftovers since I got a small bird this year.
