Does anyone else use Bragg's instead of soy sauce? I'm |

relatively new to both this forum and to Bragg's. If anyone has suggestions on how much Bragg's to use, I'd appreciate it. I basted my turkey with it and the color was magnificent.

1. You got me to look up "Bragg's" |
|
Interesting stuff. Their site looks a little kooky - citing the cell phone stuff and inactivity and cancer - that's a bit offputting.
But, it looks like the amino acid product you used on your turkey is probably not very much different from soy sauce, save for the health claims made by Bragg's.
My guess is that you're probably paying more for what is, essentially, soy sauce with some nutrients added. If it tastes good to you, if it tastes like soy sauce, I'd say use it.
But, there are a variety of soy sauces, each with a different taste and a different use, so you might want to check that out. Light soy, dark soy, black soy, mushroom soy. Stuff like that.
I never thought of basting a turkey with soy sauce, but it worked for you, which is great.
