Lordy, need a break from GD ALito - and a good yellowfin tuna recipe |
|
Yeah, I surfed the web a little for one, but was unimpressed. The DU Cooking and Baking group has better recipes when asked!
Thanks in advance, it is for dinner tonight...I am heading home now and will check in as soon as I get there! Have the tuna, so many spices it would scare you, some fresh rosemary, also have the staples - tomatoes, potatoes, onion, a jar of tamari, etc

1. The less done with exquisitely fresh fish, the better |
|
and grilling it to medium rare (a little pink inside) with just a little oil to prevent sticking, cracked pepper, and lemon juice sounds heavenly to somebody with access to fresh fish but no damn kitchen facilities. I may buy some sushi grade and a little jar of wasabi and eat it raw, I'm so sick of boxed microwave fare.
The rosemary would be wonderful on some oven roasted red potatoes.

2. I think I will hold off until tomorrow and get some cucumbers |
|
do a little marinating in sugar and vinegar, sliced real thin, and then sear the tuna rare with a BRIEF stop in the soy sauce....slice it thin and stack it on top of the cukes.
Now I am starving.
