linzer cookie recipe

I have made these before and used a recipe that called for ground almonds or hazelnuts. Now I am seeing so many different recipes for them that I wonder if it's worth it to add the nuts. Some recipes call for an egg, some don't. Anybody have a great linzer bar recipe? Thanks
