Pot roast in the oven for tonight
I was going to grind the big hunk o' chuck for hamburger and meatloaf. But I had a package with the brown-in bag & powdered gravy stuff and decided to go with a pot roast. I used about all my root veggies - celery, onions, potatoes, carrots and a gigantic parsnip. The fragrance in this house is great!

2. Sounds delish
Earlier, I took some chicken breasts out of the freezer for tomorrow. I think I'll stir fry some. Thanks for the idea!

6. I did one with chunked chicken breast, kiwi, garlic
and some schezuan sauce out of a jar. I think there was also a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil and salt. Delicious and very, very fast and easy. I suspect mango would have substituted well for the kiwi.

4. Sounds like a Cosco delight!
Speaking of which - I have to get up there and rejoin Cosco. I miss all the special goodies they carry.

5. Yup ... Costco .....
.... actually, their house brand - Kirkland - is pretty damned good stuff. If you like salmon, get the boneless, skinless canned salmon. It is without a doubt the best we have **ever** eaten.

7. Thanks for the tip!
We're going to Costco next weekend. I'll add it to my list.
