I go through many periods where I forget about them, but adding in alfalfa sprouts (and their variations, e.g.: zesty), makes a heck of a difference for very little money in sandwiches, salads, whatever. You don't need much, and their impact is great in terms of both texture and flavor. I don't always get them, but when I do, I use them, and it really makes a hell of a difference; I don't know about others, but I really like them - a thin-sliced turkey sandwich on italian bread with cheddar cheese and sprouts - yum. And I'm not some veggie weirdo (no offense!) - I mainly like raw veggies and am a decided omnivore, but for years now I've found sprouts make a heck of a difference in a sandwich.

1. I wholeheartedly second that |

Just yesterday I got some alfalfa sprouts and had a pita cheese sandwich, and it's really the sprouts that make it what it is.
And, I too forget about them so easily.
