Lots of fun stuff here!

Maybe their food seems ordinary to anyone living in the South, but for those of us who don't, it's a taste treat.

1. I love Lousiana cooking
I have a crock pot full of beans and ham right now and making cornbread and rice tomorrow for lunch :)

2. I like some of Paul Prudhomme's seasonings, too
He's that Louisianna chef who used to be on tv a lot. His line of "Magic" seasoning products have been very tasty. I especially like his Fish Magic.

3. I like Paul Prudhomme, but I feel so bad for him
He had become morbidly obese to the point that he was in a wheelchair and could only do his show when sitting on a stool. Has he lost any weight?

4. I don't know
I did a search on him last night before posting about him. Since I hadn't seen him on tv for so long, I wondered if he died. Evidently he's still active. There was no mention about his health in what I Googled.

5. how fun!
I love sites that are both informative and fun (and they make great stuff, too - their yellow rice is really good).

6. Thanks grasswire!
I buy Zatarains specifically for my son. We had no problem finding it when we were in Florida, but it's not always available where we live now. You can order their mixed rices online, so he'll be one very happy kid when he sees a case or two arrive just for him!

Thanks again!
