Yummy marinated steak... (thanks to bearfan454)

After reading bearfan454's fajita thread yesterday, my curiosity was totally piqued, because I have never tried Sofrito. So, I stopped at the store and picked some up. Sure enough, when I tasted it, I could really recognize it as having been IN many foods I have eaten. I just never knew it!

So, I picked up a steak at the store, and I marinated it in 1:3 ratio of Sofrito to Maggi seasoning, plus chopped garlic and onion powder. I let it set for 30 minutes and then grilled it. It was very tasty!!!

I made stuffed grilled jalapeños and avocado pico de gallo (basic pic plus diced avocado) with it.
