Sesame Ginger Soy Dressing
There's a salad dressing that I've only had at Japanese restaurants, and it finally occurred to me to try to make some at home rather than go out to satisfy the craving. So I googled around a bit and found what I considered to be a general consensus on how to make it. I didn't follow any particular recipe and instead just started playing.

Grated some fresh ginger; grated some white onion (not too much); ground up some white sesame seeds; added some rice vinegar, some sugar, some soy sauce, some sesame oil, some toasted ground sesame seeds, and finally some mayo to try to thicken it up, which didn't really work since I didn't want to add too much.

So I have this fantastic dressing now, but I made a lot of it (you know how it goes when experimenting -- add some of this, some of that, oops, too much of this, so now I need more of that, etc and you end up with 5 times more than you had intended).

Anyway, so I'm wondering, besides using it as a salad dressing, what other interesting creative thing could I do with this wonderful dressing? I'm sure it'd be good on a cool noodle dish. What else?

2. LOL, I had to read that twice
But y'know, that might be really good -- and then encrust them with some either ground or whole sesame seeds...

Good idea, thanks!

3. It would make a nice marinade for a steak or pork chop.

4. Toss it with steamed cauliflower
Any steamed veggie. Sounds good to me for just about anything. But then, I feel the same way about pesto and sriracha.
