How long to roast asparagus? |
|
Going to bake/roast some chicken breasts for dinner - thought maybe I would do the asparagus in there too - any idea when I should stick them in (~350 chicken takes about an hour to an hour and a half....)

Maybe less.
Coat them in olive oil. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
When they get some dark spots on them, they're done.

4. Righto, but it depends on the diameter |
|
I got the season's first asparagus at Wild Oats yesterday, $3.00/lb and skinny, skinny, skinny. I'd only do those for about 4 minutes, flip, and do for another 2. So far, I've just nuked them, which is almost as good.
Later in the season, 12-15 minutes is just about perfect.
