This week's breakfast cake.

Using cranberries instead of blackberries (coz it's what I got) and added pecans to the streusel. Made it last weekend, too, and the DH is asking for it again this week.

1. I'm going to surprise Mr. Pup with this one.
He's a Yankee and goes mad for "crumb cake" which is a coffeecake with lots of streusel topping. With a cheesecake filling and fresh berries, he is sure to find this irresistable. Thanks, hippiewife! I thank you and my husband will thank you, too! Looks yummy! :hi:

2. You're welcome, yeller.
It seems to be a perfectly adaptable recipe. Can use any kind of berries you have. The batter is kinda thick and doesn't rise very much at all. But husband raved about it. I also used brown sugar in the steusel topping instead of white.

Hope your hubs likes it, too. :hi:
