Lawsa Mercy!! I love cooking with/for my step mom!
I arrived Thursday night to chilled jumbo shrimp with avocado, tomatoes and cucumber slices on the side and bakery bread, grilled with butter.

She cooked a TON of shrimp (and I was bound and determined not to let a single one go bad) so after her surgery Friday, we had a late lunch of Shrimp and Swiss Cheese omelets with avocado slices and sour cream on top.

Yesterday, I made shrimp stuffing for salmon fillets with cucumber sauce served with asparagus and oven fried potatoes

Today, I just pulled a loaf of No Knead bread out of the oven, made twice stuffed potatoes and there's a prime rib in the oven, roasting slowly after getting seared from that HOT bread oven. We'll have that with tomato and cucumber relish.

And we've had a cheesecake with fresh strawberries for dessert all week.

Man!

I love eating here

PS, shhhhh don't tell my wise and wonderful Mr. Ketchup, he's eating TV dinners while I'm gone

2. she boiled some shrimp on Thursday
Surgery Friday and I've done all the cooking since I got here Thursday night. She did do the twice stuffed taters this morning cuz all that entailed was standing at the mixer for 5 minutes. She could sit down to stuff them.

She's supposed to walk some, just not much at once and carefully.
