Jusifying The Nixon Presidency...

Mrs. Nixon's Butterscotch brownies (revised for a full sheet-cake pan)

1 box of graham cracker crumbs
2 cans on sweetened condensed milk
1 bag of butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350
coat a non-stick cake pan with pam

mix ingredients together

pour into cake pan and smooth as much as possible

bake for 30-40 minutes

cut while hot (right out of the oven) into 1 inch squares

allow to cool

re cut and remove from pan.

Don't eat all of them at once, no matter how tempted.

I see it as a perfect metaphor for those years: take 3 chemical laden processed foods, mix them together, and come up with a pan of processed food that will make you fat while supplying little nutrition.
