sweet potato chips - question
Just fry them like regular potatoes? Going to fool myself that this will be healthier!

2. results
they came out pretty good - of course they did they were fried in grease! This was only the second time I had tried them - I hate the Thanksgiving version. A few months ago I had them in a restaurant and they were pretty good. Mine didn't come out quite as crispy but a little garlic powder, salt and pepper made them yummy. Heck I will post this too.

3. I peel mine, but I think that's just a personal preference.

I've fried them before, but my favorite way is to spray them will a little olive oil and give a quick sprinkle of sale, and then bake them.

In my case, the sweet potatoes are healthier - I'm not supposed to eat white carbs.

Edited to add that we frequently make baked sweet potato fries as well. Toss them in a little olive oil and seasonings before they go into the oven. Yummy!
