1. I remember that she was a fixture at Democratic fundraisers

around Boston and Cambridge. Sometimes she did part of the catering, most times she was an honored guest.

She was a great lady and she is missed.

3. in her biography that she wrote with her nephew she said

that she and her father fought over politics and she wasn't good at it because she got too emotional and couldn't get her thoughts together well enough. she ended up frustrated and angry.

i've always loved her. and she and i bought our bread from the same bakery and sometimes i shopped at the same store. that's as close as i ever go to her. :sigh:
