Hi all.:hi: I have been busy slaving in the hot sun literally moving tons of rock constructing my "dry creek".
Mr.sazemisery had his bridge group over last night and he put the whole meal together himself! This is a happy moment. I usually serve as consultant and problem fixer when he "has the com" in the kitchen. His menu: Sliders of Barbeque Brisket, Pulled Pork and (my favorite) Crabmeat and Tomato, accompanied by sweet potato chips and French fries, relish trays of peppers, olives and orange cherry tomatoes. For dessert he reached into the way-back machine and served Root Beer or Coke floats. One bridge afficianado had a Rum & Coke float! After dinner they played that game I refuse to learn 'cause it would end my happy marriage while I returned to the rock pile to continue my labors.
Later.

Sounds delish! :D
Are you planning on putting water in or is it going to be a rock garden?

2. The dry creek is for aesthetics and drainage |

This area gets run-off from the hills behind our property. In the spring the area where I am constructing the "dry creek" has excessive run-off and erosion. I have posted pics of the progress in the Gardening Group here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=246x9673
