2. woo-HOOOO!!! You'll be AMAZED at all the things you can wash that way...
Vacuum cleaner attachments...

Hairbrushes...

Garden tools (SMALL ones)...

Picture frames (non-digital ones that aren't wood, y'know...)

Storage jars...

The stapler that got Durkee's spilled all over it (don't ask)...

Cat toys...

Cat brushes...

Bookends (well, the ceramic ones...)

Anyway, enjoy. You deserve, indeed!

approvingly,
Bright

That ought to buy you a little more time and inclination to cook!

And I second what Stinky said.

6. sadly
one of the 'selling points' was that it will do top rack loads

I'm embarrassed how often we run out of glasses with no dirty plates these days

7. OMG.....I was looking at that exact same unit the other day!
I had a pyrex pot cover explode in my older whirlpool and I had to call the repair guy to fish out all the glass shards out of its hidden nether parts. I had a few moments of bliss where I operated under the fantasy that Dennis couldn't fix my machine for far less than it would cost to get a new one.

I'm Jealous! May you have many years of fine washing with your new friend.

11. this coming Wednesday, he bought it on "Black Friday"
so I dunno

but it's gotta be better than this builder grade 16 year old Whirlpool that only has half of the top rack tines still intact (the rest have rusted through and broken off) and whose main soap compartment NEVER latched the whole time I've had it

:banghead:

10. How wonderful!!!
You're going to love the "tall tub" and how quiet these run. I know what you mean about running out of cups and glasses. We do, too - but mostly I run out of room on the top shelf of the dishwasher! Then I go looking for more to put on the bottom. Like maybe I stashed a soiled pan in the oven. :D

Speaking of pans, the Bosch will get the broiler pan clean as a whistle.

I'm crazy about the Bosch and am delighted that your hubby has made you so happy!

15. About that silverware....
I did a 'top only' cycle after I posted my earlier reply and I had a couple of spoons down below in the silverware carrier. They washed up great. I guess enough soap and water fell on them. :D

Btw, the top rack has a section where you can put ladles and long stuff like that. The left side of mine is for that purpose. The items can't fall through. I've put a bunch of knives and forks in there a few times and they washed up fine and never fell through the plastic grid.

I hope you have fun trying all the different cycles!

What a nice gift of quiet dishwashing!

Sears is the only place we buy appliances. They deliver, set-up and quarantee what they sell.

Enjoy!
