Unexpected treat
(no pun intended)

In following the ilnk on the thread "The Passing of a Great Man" where I commented something about this grotesquely huge sandwich (still not sure if the picture was a joke or not), but the actual link takes you to a place called http://www.savethedeli.com which is dedicated to the preservation of Jewish delis (which I remember fondly growing up when we visited New York - that's where you can get the only real thing that legitimately be called a bagel). All food was good though, and then it surprising had this little musical gem:

If that gets stuck in my head all day I may come gunning for ya though. :D
The B side was pretty good too.

2. A sandwich the size of a 10 year old's head
is just plain gross to me. I'd have to get it to go and have it last me a week or so.

You can get good bagels in Boston. I even got good ones in NC at a deli that flew them in daily. You sure as hell can't get them in NM, the closest thing being frozen Lender's. Forget bialys, few people outside NYC know what the hell they are.

There is also no real deli out here, odd because there's enough of a Jewish population to support two big temples. A few markets have started selling half sours, though, so it's possible to do a reasonable facsimile at home.

I just wish Noshville Katz would open here in town.
