What's for Dinner - Saturday Edition

We have a huge pot of Bill's chili simmering away and Ain5 bread sitting in the fridge, so I'm guessing were having Chili. :)

3. Well you can't really technically say

13. I make 4 at a time usually
4 pounds beef
2 pounds pork sausage
bell pepper, mushrooms, onions in the food processor
tomato sauce
eggs
bread crumbs
seasoning

adjust as needed

bake for an hour then paint it with ketchup or chili sauce add bacon strips if you want and cook another 30 minutes until done

Adding to the moisture is a plus. I don't like meatloaf soggy, but I really don't like it too dry!

18. Eerily similar to my death row meal...
Grilled steak, baked potatoes, roasted asparagus. We started with a tomato cabbage soup and home made fajita crackers.

Cheesecake for dessert but I'm too stuffed right now.

My shortcuts are jarred sauce and frozen broccoli cooked in the microwave.

A crusy loaf of bread and some amazing oil from a local restaurant - they actually bottle it for sale!

Birthday cake (AALette's from yesterday) for dessert.

They're a great time saver, but I only buy them when they are on sale.

Last time they were $1.00 a bag. I scooped up all they had and put them in the deep freezer. :D
