They ruin your meals

They cause you to overeat

They parch your mouth

They make you crazy from thirst

They have a siren song that makes you buy them on every trip to Costco

They seem to leap into small bowls and follow you wherever you go

Your hand reaches

Just one

And another

And another and another and another .....

They are ......

....... Evil Rice Crackers

Three Frikkin Pounds

of

EVIL

RICE

CRACKERS

with nuts.

1. Thanks for the warning
although I've been on a salt free diet so long I probably wouldn't like them.

2. When I was little and we lived in Japan we got turned on to those
things: o-sen-bay or o-sem-bay is how the name was pronounced.

I LOVE them, especially the soy sauce covered-seaweed wrapped oblong ones!!!! They go great with Japanese beer.

7. I didn't know what they were, but they were green and looked
tasty, so I got a little scoop of them at the health food store FOR MY HAMSTER, OPAL. She buried them in a corner of her habitat, which surprised me because she usually liked everything. I thought they were green peas with some kind of coating, but since I'm allergic to green peas, I didn't taste them before I gave them to Opal. I just cleaned them out of her trash pile. It wasn't until several years later, and after her death, that I learned what they were. RIP little Opal. I didn't know I was setting you on fire.

9. Dancing was great fun!
I'm way out of practice and I drove Sparkly into a few collisions.

We used to dance regularly and were quite good at it. The last time we danced was StinkyJr2's wedding. Before that, it was a real long while.

Sparkly still dances professionally and I did that silly dance thing in that New year's Eve performance, but ballroom has been out of our repertoire for a while. After last night we decided we're going to do it again soon. Maybe even next week.

No pictures though.

Maybe next time.

Or not :)
