are just okay. I had to put more zest and juice in both the cookie and the filling to get them lemony enough. I used the zest from 4 Meyer lemons that were a pretty good size, and the juice of a pretty large regular lemon.
I don't know if they were really worth the work, either. I'm glad I made them but, and they taste fine, but I think I really would have had one of the lemon pies that were posted last week.
Okay, back to work. Got an hour and a half left to go. :hi:
