How to peel a kiwi
Did I see that discussion here, or was it somewhere else? Or did I dream it? That happens.

Anyway, I just came across this - http://tinyurl.com/6j5t8x - if anyone wants to try peeling a kiwi.

These Internet(s) tubes have everything, really........................

3. Yes we had a little subthread going on about it
Tab and I were talking about it I believe and it went off into growing them. I can't for the life of me remember what the Thread was about.

4. I think the original question was about peeling an onion

Peeling onions, at least for me, is easy how I do it, but then I said that what I really want is an easy way to peel a kiwi.

There were suggestions to bisect it and scoop it out, which might work for recipes, but I likes the slices for salad, or to mix in with cereal, or whatever, and there's no good clean way to do it except for a good peeling knife or peeler of some kind, and a certain level of messiness and tediousness.

6. I just used those Ecko peelers.
back in the dark ages when I'd serve them to other people. It's a little messy and sticky, but it works better than a paring knife.

I can eat maybe one slice before the allergy kicks in, so I haven't tasted them for years.

7. Yeah, I just used these generic things


I learned to leave the ends on, peel, hope it wasn't TOOOO ripe (because then it became mush, but you at least want it ripe enough to eat), and after peeling, slice off the ends.

The paring knife was an alternative, not a preference.

That's the best I ever got it. If you have more clues on how to improve the process, let me know.

8. The spoon from each end in the demo film
looks intriguing. If I ever have an occasion to feed guests again, I'll try it.

5. People need to be warned if they are at work
that it automatically starts up a video below the picture of the kiwi and the short lead in.
