Would anyone like some persimmon tea? |
|
I bought a canister of persimmon flavored white tea. I hadn't tried persimmon before, so I thought what the heck.
I don't care for the perfumy flavor. :P
It's an almost full can of tea bags. The brand is Republic of Tea.
I'll send it to you free of charge.

1. If no one else chimes in I'd be interested. |
|
I've never tried it but its supposed to be good for people with allergies, so that makes me curious.
But if someone knows that they like it already I'll happily withdraw. :)

You're certainly welcome to it.
Republic of Tea is a great brand. I'm always happy with the quality of the tea. And white tea has even more antioxidants than green tea. ;-)

3. I was surprised to find that it has anti-allergic properties. |
|
And lots of amino acids and C. I drink a variety of teas but I've never even looked at persimmon.

6. Didn't know that about the anti-allergens |
|
for persimmons. My aunt was crazy about them. Persimmon jelly especially.
Amazing.

4. I like it. I have some from Trader Joe's, so it's not the same brand, but it is labeled |
|
as the same thing.
But I don't need it and think you should send it to someone who may not be able to afford it, or would find it a special treat.
I am merely recommending it.

8. I'm glad you enjoy it! |

It amazes me how may products TJs has. Persimmon tea sounds so obscure to me. :-)

5. I like flavored white teas, which is odd because I HATE flavored black teas. |
|
Please send me some of that tea through the InterTubes.

I have a clump that I planted on he side of the house that our office and bedroom are on. LOVE the fragrance. And I've tasted fresh honeysuckle. Just never the tea. Is it honey-esque?

Republic of Tea white tea with honeysuckle. There's a slight hint of honey in the background, but there's no sugar.
I used to love pulling about honeysuckle blossoms and sucking out the nectar as a kid. :D
