What happened to the monthly challenges?

I had a few months there where I was involved in some family drama involving an unruly teenager. (My 17 y/o daughter ran away 2 days after h.s. graduation and went to live with her bio-father in TX who she has never met. Very long, involved story. Things were tough at home for awhile but we're making peace with it.) Anyway, I haven't really been online that much.

Did the monthly challenges fizzle out? Or did I miss this month's?

1. I think they fizzled

I know I didn't find them particularly appealing and now it's summer and hot as hell and I just got out of the hospital and don't feel like eating, let alone cooking, and to hell with the whole business. A lot of us now have vacationing kiddies underfoot and are planning summer breaks and the monthly project idea just doesn't make sense right now.

They might start up again in the fall, who knows?
