Anyone have a good salsa recipe to share? |
|
My tomato plants went crazy this year and I don't want them to go to waste.
TIA

....that sounded very interesting. The slow roasted tomatoes can be saved in the fridge. http://www.oregonlive.com/foodday/index.ssf/2009/08/ripe_for_the_baking.html

is cored, seeded, chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, minced hot peppers, and lime juice. Everything else is a variation on these ingredients.
I would reduce the amount of hot pepper if you're planning to can the salsa as the heat tends to increase over time.
