1. I'm sure you will absolutely love it!

My first was a Dazey Seal-A-Meal that adhered by sticky-adhesive tape to the wall in the early 1970's. Worked great for the time! Package up leftover meals in little baggies, freeze and then cook in boiling water. Fast food!

Also great just to seal items from moisture when camping like matches, etc.

I actually still have one just like this this stored away in the basement. Last I checked, it still worked.

Of course today's Vacuum sealers are way above and beyond 1970 technology. I am on my second vacuum sealer - I wore out the first one. Brand is Foodsaver, but I bet they're all very similar.

Have fun with it :-)

Truly, I never waste food anymore.

edit - one just like this - pic is from online

LOL! (See my past posts on this topic.) :hi:

Wish there were a way to freeze my summer berries without ziplocks, tho. x( At least those can be washed and reused over and over again.

4. You can wash and re use the seal a meal bags
I'd get one if I thought I'd use it more. I really loved my handi vac as it was less bulky and I could just keep it in a drawer. I don't have the space for one more appliance on my counter.

5. Here's a little hand version for $39

I've not used it, but if I didn't have a full sized version, I'd get one.

Here's a link.
