Tonight's dinner in pictures

Sparkly and I were just plain beat tonight.

Sparkly taught four straight hours of piano students without so much as a minute's break. When she was done, she came down to my offices where she had to **wake me up** with my hand on my mouse and my chin on my chest.

I had said I would cook supper.

She suggested a very reasonable alternative to allowing a sleepy man near fire and knives.



I drove ... which may also have been a not so good idea!

11. Picture posts

I'm usually capable of multitasking, but I'm also an anal neat freak. Every picture post I've done has involved Sparkly playing photographer cuz I won't touch the camera while my hands are 'fooded'. This is her super busy season, getting her kiddies ready for their recitals next weekend. This weekend we have 'prerecital' parties here. The kids come and play their pieces for each other with no parents around and then a party afterwards. Add to that all the lessons with all the kids all nervous about getting things just right and ... well ... Sparkly's fairy princess tiara is a bit askew right now. She gets more frazzed than the kids do.

Hence ... no photographer.

But here's a preview of upcoming events.

A sauteed fish thing I do. Unusual and we love it. It involves such things as raisans or pine nuts or capers .... or all the above ..... and vermouth or pernod. And butter. Lots of butter.

Grilled pizza. One the ol' barbie.

But for now .... more take-out pizza and Subway and Chinese carry-out and Quiznos and .......
