I oven BBQed chicken thighs and pork chops.
I parboiled the chicken first so I have at least 4 quarts of chicken broth. Probably I'll finish the stock up tomorrow. I have wanted vegetable soup for months now, so I'll probably make a chicken based vegetable soup. May add rice or pasta.
I also am gonna try to make some egg drop soup with some of the broth.
Why am I doing all this cooking? We have two refrigerators with very small freezers, and I ran out of room, so had to cook up some of my frozen meat to make room for new groceries I got yesterday.
Now I need to come up with some side dishes for the meat, any ideas?

Dipped in egg and rolled in any crumbs on hand. Add some oil to the bottom of a large pan, in go the chops and baked until done. turn once.
Or use a chop or two to make that lima bean soup I posted about if you're feeling daring.

We had a few really hot days so I didn't cook. Finished putting the chicken stock together, and the egg drop soup turned out great.
I may cook a few more things up today, but am still juggling room in the frig.
