salt & pepper shrimp
Does anyone have a recipe they can particularly recommend? I've found dozens on epicurious, etc. just thought I would ask if anyone had tried one. I actually want the recipe to try to adapt it to salt & pepper crab.

1. Our local Asian Trough (all-you-can-scarf buffet) makes both
I'm not sure of the recipe, but when you eat them it is very clear they use the exact same recipe.

2. That's what I figured:
it's the same recipe.

this is a long & boring story, but I got the new addition of Bon Appetite. The last page is always a Q & A w/some celebrity. Boring, but I always read it. This month was Aaron Brown-ugh. He was asked his favorite restaurant dishes & he mentioned the crab dish at the Flying Fish in Seattle. I checked out their website & the only dish that fit his description (he said it was a dish to share, but he wouldn't) was the salt & pepper crab served w/sesame noodles & a chili lime dipping sauce. It sounded intriguing, but when I googled "salt & pepper crab" I couldn't find anything. It then dawned on me that salt & pepper shrimp (which I love, but have never made) would probably be the same thing.

Hubby's birthday is today. We were supposed to go out, so I didn't plan anything. He changed his mind at the last minute. I want to make him this for tomorrow.
