Firefox Extensions
I have been using and extension called ForecastFox. I think it's a great extension. It is very small and It gives you Current, Overnight and tomorrow's forecasts. Make sure you are using the newest Firefox version 1.0 and go here
ForecastFox
Once it's installed, a window will pop open asking for your City. Then try out different locations in your browser for it.

1. This is one
of my favorites. AddBlock You can block adds you don,t like or are sick of on the web pages you visit. Or you can block Sig pictures or avatars in forums once you grow tired of looking at them. Just right click on the add or pic and select Addblock image or addblock frame.

3. Some others I have ...

Tweak Network 1.0 : In reference to the pipelining thread, this allows you easy access to some of these settings via a menu accessed under Tools. You can experiment easily with the best settings for your connection.

All-in-One Gestures 0.12.4 : If you liking using mouse gestures while browsing, this is the extension to use. I don't use them a lot, but I do have a few I use quite a bit, e.g. a left-right-left "erase" motion while holding the right mouse button closes all open tabs except the active one. You can customize the gestures any way you want to perform many different common tasks: open a new tab, new browser window, close a tab, go back, go forward, etc.

OpenBook 1.2.0 : Customizes the way the bookmarks are displayed when adding a new bookmark. I find this extension much more efficient than FF's native bookmarking process.

Copy Plain Text 0.2.1 : Allows you to copy text from a webpage with all the assorted crap associated with copying from an HTML encoded page filtered out. I got this specifically for the purpose of posting the first few paragraphs of a news article to LBN. I don't have edit out all the white space that comes with this.

User Agent Switcher 0.6.1 : Some websites that "require" IE or Netscape don't really need those programs but are restricted from being accessed if one of the headers received by your browser's attempt to connect doesn't include one of these programs as your current browser. This extension allows you to fool these pages into thinking you're using that browser, thus allowing you to access it.

IEView 0.84 : And then there are those pages that require IE. If you run across one of these, want to view it, and the above extension doesn't work, you can call up the page in IE by right-clicking and choosing "View in IE." It actually calls up IE for those times it is absolutely necessary to do so, but you don't have to close FF, and you don't need to copy and paste the URL.

US Department of Homeland Insecurity Idiocy Level 0.1.1.1 : Serves no useful purpose, but I couldn't resist it. It puts a little box in the corner of your browser with the current Terra Alert warning level. Currently, the level is "Scared."
