1. 'Oklahoma results' works fine for me.
Did you do anything unusual with cookies?

I have been getting these warnings for a few days now on several other queries. Could it maybe be my security settings??? It all started when I was looking to see if I could find anyone who has hacked the 8 gig that xp uses for some odd reason that does not show up in my computer or anywhere else I've found. Its like I hit a nerve when I inquired about reclaiming that 8 gig of space. What is micro$haft doing with that space on my hard drive??? I'm really starting to wonder and more so as I keep getting these warnings now. I'm on a fresh install of xp home.

:tinfoilhat: maybe needed???

Add: I deleted the google cookies so maybe that'll fix it. Thanks for the help ;-)

3. You want to make sure that you have the updates for SP2 from a naked install.
XP SP2 took care of most of the problems from the early XP days.

4. actually I have sp3 rc1 on here downloaded from microsoft
I think the reason it was still happening was because of a cookie issue and I deleted them and so far no more warnings. but why would when I was looking for info on the squirreled away by xp hard drive space did this start???

Oh and on the sp3 rc1 when I first put it on I could see a speed increase in everything this computer is used for which isn't much mind you but I do suggest to check out sp3 for xp. It appears to be a step in the right direction for xp to be going.
Thanks UHC ;-)

5. I don't know, but ...

I got that a lot myself last night for really weird things, or I should say, very common things. A search for a single word resulted in that. I ignored the page that comes up, went back to the main google page, then typed it the search term again. That time I had no problem.

It seems almost random.

I knew Google had this "feature" and that it is triggered by certain combinations and manners of entering search terms. I am guessing -- purely a guess -- that they've been working on the mechanism for this and that it has become a bit twitchy for the moment.

6. only for the last few days has I seen it
My neighbor and I was talking about the 8 gig that xp squirrels away and I said I'd do a google on it and when I did thats when it first started and it happened several times after wards on things I'd googled before without a hitch. I deleted my google cookies this morning and so far I haven't seen it again. OT, but Google just bought 800 acres just across the road from us here and are in a hell of a construction project that rivals anything any of the construction workers that I've talked to say they've ever been on. 24 giant generators, we're talking locomotive sized diesel engines turning them. A huge water line. They are definitely up to something is all I know. Thanks for letting me know it isn't only me having the problems I had, I don't feel quit so paranoid now.

7. I was glad to see your note too ...

I was about to get irritated. Well, I am irritated a bit, but it's nice to have company. :-)

Mean to add this initially. It's definitely not a service pack or even a Windows issue. Happened on my Linux box using both Konqueror and Firefox.

8. so was it with puppy with seamonkey
I've been playing around with my xp using nlite and have a new install so when google was acting foolish I booted puppy and sure enough I had the same problem with it too.
Do you know if anyone has hacked into the extra 8 gig that xp hides from us by any chance. I sure would like to know what they are using that HD space for. Why must they hide it???

9. 8 gigs?

I am unfamiliar with this.

Are you certain it isn't a hidden partition set aside by the company that originally built the system? (Can't remember if you built this system yourself or not.)

There's a certain amount of space that ends up not being used when one installs Windows. I can't remember what the size of that space is ... been too long since I've installed Windows and paid attention ... but it's not nearly that much.
