Mozilla rich text?
I was trying to paste a sixteen paragraph mini biography in http://blog.com but when I tried to paste it sent me to this: http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/securityprefs.html

I can't find 'user.js' and I don't know how to make one.

1. Be advised ....

by editing/changing *user.js* you could corrupt Firefox to the point that you would have to delete everything and start all over again with a fresh new install. The very first thing you want to do is make a copy of it and move it to somewhere safe so that you can fall back to it. Having said that, and if you're sure you want to continue ... what OS are you using; Win98, XP, Vista or other? They all store *user.js* in different places. You could do a Search for it.

3. What he said ^^^^^^ about backing up first
but then, just open up any ole text editor (notepad) and paste that text into it and save it as "user.js" in the same location that the "prefs.js" file is -- the usual directory location is also described on the page you linked to.

Also, be aware that you can type "about:config" (w/o quotes) into your browser window to access your preferences file... but be careful

User pref. files

In the profile directory are two user pref files: prefs.js and user.js. prefs.js is automatically generated by the application and should not be edited manually, whereas user.js is an optional file the user can create to override preferences initialized by other preferences files.
