How do I lay music behind a powerpoint presentation?
I have an mp3 of the music I want.
I am using PowerPoint 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. I am not sure if ppt supports mp3s
however you should be able to conver it to a wav file and embed it where you want it to start, and make sure it is set to play through all the slides. I still have office 2o00, but doing this worked for me in that and in office 97 when I had that.

Just click on instert, and sound from file to see if the mp3 will work, first. If not you can dowload something to convert it, I believe.

2. I have office 2000 as well
and MP3s play ok.

Go to insert menu, select Movies and Sounds, then select Sound from File. Navigate to the MP3 you wish to play and click ok.
